Madame Tussauds Istanbul is a wax museum and entertainment center in Istanbul, located in a 2,000 square metres venue in the Grand Pera building in Istiklal Avenue. Madame Tussauds is a museum chain for life-size wax replicas of famous celebrities and historic icons as well as historical and cultural heroes from the history of Turkey, along with current celebrities from the arts, sport and politics.


Its center is in London (first Madame Tussauds London dates back to 250 years) and its 26th branch is opened in Istanbul in 2016.

What’s Inside

You’ll see and get closer to the life-size wax replicas of famous celebrities, artists, historic icons, football players and more from both from Turkey and the World.

The museum has five themed galleries that include; music, sports, science and culture, VIP party, history and the leaders.

About 60 life-size wax replicas from Leonardo Da Vinci, Mozart, Einstein, Julia Roberts, Johhny Depp, Brad Pitt, Steve Jobs, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Maria Sharapova, Rafael Nadal, Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Mevlana, Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Zeki Muren, Baris Manco, Adile Nasit, Muslum Gurses, Yasar Kemal, Beren Saat, Kivanc Tatlitug and many more.

Where to Buy Madame Tussauds Tickets

You can buy tickets at ticket windows on location. Ticket price is 94 TL (about €14,20).

How to Get to Madame Tussauds

Location

You’ll find the Madame Tussauds Istanbul at the Grand Pera Shopping Center’s first two floors, on the Istiklal Street, Taksim. 600 meters from the Taksim Square. And on the right hand side when you go down through Istiklal Street. See the location map.

Transportation

The most practical way to get to Madame Tussauds Istanbul is via walking down from the Istiklal Street or up from the Tunel Sqaure. You should get to Taksim or Tunel square.

  • Take funicular from Karakoy to Tunel.
  • Take funicular from Kabatas to Taksim.
  • From Sultanahmet take the Bagcilar-Kabatas tram (T1 line) to reach Karakoy or Kabatas.
  • Yenikapi-Taksim-Haciosman M2 Metro line and hop off at the Taksim stop, and walk
  • If you stay at the Taksim hotels, than you easily walk to the museum.
