For this HairNeva review, the Istanbeautiful team went further than comparing website claims and online ratings. We visited HairNeva in Istanbul, looked at the clinic environment and international-patient setup, researched its medical structure, and asked the clinic a detailed set of questions covering doctor involvement, donor management, HairMetrix analysis, its lifetime graft warranty, aftercare, facility authorization, and treatment pricing.
HairNeva provided detailed written responses to our questions.

How We Reviewed HairNeva
Our HairNeva review is based on first-hand observations, an on-site clinic visit, detailed written responses from HairNeva, independent verification, and patient-review research.
The Istanbeautiful team visited HairNeva in Istanbul in August 12, 2026 to assess the facility, patient experience, consultation structure, treatment environment, and international-patient process.
Following our visit and research, we sent HairNeva a detailed questionnaire rather than relying on promotional information. We asked who performs each major stage of a hair transplant, how many patients and teams operate daily, how donor capacity is assessed, how HairMetrix is used, what the lifetime graft warranty covers, how postoperative concerns are handled, and what a representative patient might pay.
HairNeva identified Dr. Özen, a dermatologist, as its legally responsible physician and Medical Director, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güncel Öztürk serving as HairNeva’s founder and overseeing its medical standards and clinical approach.
We independently cross-checked HairNeva’s international health-tourism authorization through official Turkish sources and examined independent patient-review patterns.
At the time of our assessment, HairNeva had a 4.6/5 TrustScore from 338 Trustpilot reviews, with approximately 94% rated five stars and 2% one star (See all reviews).
We don’t treat high review-platform ratings as evidence of surgical quality. Instead, we use patient feedback to identify recurring themes involving communication, organization, aftercare, results, and complaints.
Our 94/100 rating is an independent Istanbeautiful editorial assessment, and HairNeva had no control over our score or final verdict.
Our Visit to HairNeva in Istanbul
HairNeva operates at DRGO Clinic at Dikilitaş Mah., Ayazma Deresi Cad. No:10, Beşiktaş, Istanbul, according to the information supplied directly to Istanbeautiful.
The clinic’s location, Besiktas, is convenient for international visitors, particularly since accommodation can be arranged within the same general complex.
During our visit, we focused less on decorative aspects and more on what a prospective hair-transplant patient should actually care about: who plans treatment, how responsibilities are divided, how donor assessment works, what happens after surgery, and how international patients are supported.

HairNeva told us that the facility operates under a Turkish Ministry of Health International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate, No. AK-1084.
Editorial note: We distinguish between documentation or information supplied by a clinic and information independently checked by Istanbeautiful. The certificate number above was supplied directly by HairNeva and should be presented as clinic-provided unless independently matched against the relevant official registry.
One thing we appreciated during our investigation was HairNeva’s willingness to clarify Dr. Öztürk’s actual role rather than simply telling us that procedures are “doctor-led”.
The answer is more nuanced.
And for prospective patients, that nuance matters.
Who Is Dr. Güncel Öztürk?
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güncel Öztürk is the founder of HairNeva and the physician most closely associated with its brand.

HairNeva’s current website presents him as a European Board-certified aesthetic/plastic surgeon and prominently connects his name with the clinic’s hair-restoration approach.
However, patients need to distinguish between founder oversight, treatment planning, and personally performing the transplant.
HairNeva told Istanbeautiful that Dr. Öztürk participates in medical planning and supervision for Sapphire FUE procedures. Depending on the case, he may participate in the consultation, donor assessment, graft planning, and hairline design.
The clinic confirmed that extraction, recipient-site incisions, and implantation are performed by its trained hair-transplant team under medical supervision.
The situation is similar for DHI. Dr. Öztürk is involved in planning and supervision and may participate in consultation, donor assessment, graft planning, or hairline design. Extraction and implantation are performed by the HairNeva team.
HairNeva was particularly explicit when we asked whether Dr. Öztürk personally participates in every patient’s operation.
The answer was no.
His involvement varies according to the case and package.
For us, this doesn’t automatically make HairNeva a poor choice. Team-based hair transplantation is common in Türkiye.
It simply needs to be transparent.
Who Actually Performs Your Hair Transplant at HairNeva?
This was one of the most important parts of our investigation.
HairNeva confirmed the following:
Medical responsibility: Dr. Özen, Dermatologist.
Medical standards/clinical approach: Overseen by founder Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güncel Öztürk.
Consultation and planning: Dr. Öztürk may participate depending on the case and package.
Hairline design: Dr. Öztürk personally designs the hairline under the DRGO Signature package. Standard-package hairlines are planned by the medical team.
Extraction: HairNeva’s trained transplant team.
Recipient channels/incisions: HairNeva’s trained medical team.
Implantation: HairNeva’s trained transplant team.
Postoperative follow-up: Medical team under the responsible physician’s supervision.
HairNeva explicitly told us that Dr. Öztürk does not routinely perform extraction, recipient-channel creation, or implantation personally.
There is an important package distinction.
HairNeva confirmed that its DRGO Signature package includes personalized hairline design by Dr. Öztürk. For standard packages, the medical team plans the hairline using facial proportions, patient age, donor capacity, and the treatment plan.
This makes the DRGO Signature option more relevant for patients whose priority is direct involvement from Dr. Öztürk during aesthetic planning.
Patients who want a surgeon personally performing extraction and implantation should consider this limitation carefully.

HairNeva’s Daily Patient Volume and Team Structure
HairNeva operates a team-based hair transplantation model rather than a single-surgeon model.
We asked the clinic directly how many patients it typically treats and how many transplant teams can work simultaneously. HairNeva told Istanbeautiful that it performs an average of 3 to 5 hair transplant procedures per day, depending on whether it is low or high season.

The clinic says these procedures are conducted through three separate specialized hair transplant teams operating simultaneously.

This gives us a clearer picture of HairNeva’s operating structure than we had from its public information alone. Based on the figures provided, HairNeva should not be described as a one-patient-at-a-time boutique surgeon practice. It operates a multi-team clinical model with several procedures taking place during the same operating day.
That isn’t automatically a disadvantage.
For us, the more important questions are how responsibilities are divided, who supervises each patient, and which stages are personally performed by the physician associated with the clinic.
HairNeva has already confirmed that extraction, recipient-site creation and implantation are normally carried out by its trained transplant teams under medical supervision rather than personally by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güncel Öztürk.
Patients who prefer a team-based model may be comfortable with this structure. Those specifically seeking a surgeon who personally performs the critical surgical stages should compare HairNeva with clinics operating under a more surgeon-intensive model.

HairMetrix: Useful Assessment Tool or Marketing Feature?
HairNeva prominently promotes HairMetrix, an AI-assisted, non-invasive hair and scalp analysis system.
We specifically asked how much influence it actually has over treatment decisions.
HairNeva told Istanbeautiful that HairMetrix provides quantitative information about hair and scalp characteristics, including hair density and donor-area condition.
These measurements can support donor-capacity assessment, graft estimates, and suitability evaluation. However, HairNeva explicitly confirmed that HairMetrix does not determine the treatment plan by itself. Final graft numbers and clinical decisions are made by the medical team.
We see that as the right way to position this technology.
HairNeva also confirmed that HairMetrix isn’t restricted to its premium DRGO Signature patients. It is available as part of preoperative assessment for HairNeva patients more broadly.
However, when we asked whether HairNeva had measured better clinical outcomes from HairMetrix-assisted planning compared with conventional assessment, it didn’t provide comparative outcome data.
Our assessment is consequently positive but restrained.
HairMetrix can provide useful objective measurements. We don’t see evidence from HairNeva’s answers that using it produces better transplant results by itself.
Donor Management: One of HairNeva’s Stronger Areas
A hair transplant shouldn’t be planned around the largest possible graft number.
The donor area is finite, and patients experiencing progressive androgenetic hair loss may need those remaining follicles later.
HairNeva told us that donor capacity is assessed using donor density, hair characteristics, available donor area, and the patient’s overall clinical assessment. HairMetrix can supply supplementary measurements, but the final decision remains with the medical team.
We asked another question that we consider particularly important:
How do you account for future hair loss?
HairNeva said its planning considers current hair-loss pattern, age, donor capacity, hair characteristics, and likely progression. The stated objective is to preserve sufficient donor capacity for possible future needs rather than concentrating solely on immediate coverage.
The clinic doesn’t use one fixed maximum extraction percentage for every patient. It says safe extraction is individualized according to donor characteristics and long-term hair-loss pattern.
We consider that preferable to marketing a universal “maximum graft” number.
HairNeva also told us it may decline candidates with insufficient donor capacity, unrealistic expectations, unsuitable medical conditions, or circumstances where transplantation is unlikely to produce a safe and satisfactory long-term result.
This contributed positively to our rating.
HairNeva Lifetime Graft Warranty: What Does It Really Cover?
HairNeva’s lifetime graft warranty sounds impressive, but the phrase needs explanation.
We asked the clinic exactly what it means.
HairNeva told us the warranty applies to transplanted grafts, rather than the patient’s existing natural hair or future progression of hair loss.
If transplanted grafts covered by the warranty fail, HairNeva says the remedy can involve graft replacement through a corrective hair-transplant procedure, subject to medical assessment and the applicable warranty conditions. The warranty doesn’t cover unrelated medical expenses or subsequent loss of natural hair.
This is more meaningful than a vague “guaranteed result” claim.
However, one area remains unresolved.
When we asked what circumstances invalidate the warranty, HairNeva didn’t provide the specific exclusions. It said cases are assessed individually according to its warranty terms.
HairNeva confirmed that patients can request and review the written warranty terms before surgery.
Our advice is simple:
Request that document before paying your deposit.
Read the exclusions, patient responsibilities, eligibility conditions, corrective-procedure costs, travel costs, and method used to establish graft failure.
We would not interpret “lifetime warranty” as a guarantee that your overall hair density will remain unchanged for life.
Medical Safety and Sedation
Hair transplants at HairNeva are normally performed under local anesthesia.
HairNeva told Istanbeautiful that an anesthesiologist isn’t routinely present for standard procedures. If a patient requests sedation and it is considered clinically appropriate, an anesthesiologist attends to administer and monitor sedation.
The clinic says its medical team is prepared to respond to medical emergencies arising during treatment.
This is another area where we prefer precise language.
The presence of an anesthesiologist when sedation is used shouldn’t be interpreted as an anesthesiologist attending every HairNeva hair transplant.
Patients with cardiovascular disease, medication issues, previous anesthesia complications, bleeding disorders, or other relevant medical histories should discuss their individual risk assessment directly with the clinic before travelling.
What Does HairNeva Cost?
Rather than comparing headline prices alone, we asked HairNeva to quote the same standardized patient profile that we intend to use across the clinics reviewed by Istanbeautiful:
38 years old, Norwood 4, healthy donor area, no previous transplant.
HairNeva appropriately declined to give a definitive treatment recommendation without photographs and medical assessment.
For comparison purposes, however, it estimated approximately 2,500–3,000 grafts, with DHI where clinically suitable.
The quoted price was:
€3,490 for one DHI session
HairNeva said the package would include:
- Marriott Executive Apartments Fulya
- VIP airport and local transfers
- PRP
- postoperative medications
- postoperative washing
- HairNeva shampoo and foam
- aftercare guidance
- follow-up.
Dr. Öztürk would be involved in medical planning and supervision as required, with extraction and implantation performed by HairNeva’s trained transplant team.
The clinic requires a 10% deposit. HairNeva told us that cancellation at least two weeks before the scheduled procedure allows the deposit to be fully refunded.
We like the relative clarity of this quotation.
HairNeva Aftercare
International aftercare deserves more attention than it often receives.
Patients usually return home long before the transplanted hair begins meaningful growth.
HairNeva told us that during the first week patients receive guidance covering washing, medication, wound care, and general recovery.
During the first month, donor and recipient healing can be monitored as needed. Hair growth is followed between approximately months three and six, with the final result assessed around month 12.
If a patient develops a concern after returning home, HairNeva says the case is reviewed by its medical team under the supervision of responsible physician Dr. Özen, Dermatologist.
This is a positive feature for international patients.
Independent reviews show a similar recurring theme. Several recent reviewers mention communication, organized transfers, aftercare instructions, follow-up, and the convenience of accommodation close to the clinic. (See all reviews)
As with all patient-review evidence, individual experiences vary.
What Do HairNeva Patient Reviews Say?
At the time we checked in August 2026, HairNeva’s Trustpilot profile showed a 4.6/5 TrustScore from 338 reviews, with 94% five-star reviews and 2% one-star reviews. Trustpilot states that the company hasn’t recently invited customers to review it. (See all reviews)
Positive reviews frequently mention staff communication, organization, airport transfers, clinic facilities, technicians, and postoperative support.
We deliberately examined negative feedback too.
One detailed 2026 one-star review raised concerns about hairline graft selection and uneven donor extraction. HairNeva responded publicly, disputing conclusions made at an early stage of recovery and stating that final density and hairline appearance normally require a longer postoperative period to assess.
We don’t have the clinical records needed to determine which interpretation is correct.
That is exactly why we don’t convert review-platform ratings into medical-quality scores.
Patient reviews can identify questions worth asking. They cannot independently establish graft survival, donor safety, or surgical competence.
What We Like About HairNeva
Several features scored well in our assessment.
Transparent clarification of Dr. Öztürk’s role
HairNeva didn’t claim that its founder personally performs surgical stages that are actually carried out by the team.
Donor-focused planning
The clinic describes an individualized approach rather than applying one extraction percentage to everyone.
Operating-model transparency
HairNeva provided Istanbeautiful with concrete information about its daily workload after our follow-up questions. The clinic reports approximately 3–5 procedures per day depending on season, handled through three specialized transplant teams. Knowing this allows patients to judge the clinic as a multi-team operation rather than assuming it follows a single-surgeon boutique model.
Future hair loss is considered
This is particularly relevant for younger patients and those with progressive loss.
HairMetrix provides additional quantitative assessment
We like its use as supporting information rather than as an automated replacement for clinical judgment.
Structured international package
Accommodation, transfers, medication, washing, products, and follow-up were included in our standardized quotation.
Long-term follow-up structure
HairNeva describes monitoring extending to approximately 12 months.
Written lifetime graft warranty available
This is useful provided patients read the full terms before booking.
Where HairNeva Loses Points
Dr. Öztürk doesn’t routinely perform the surgical stages
This is the biggest consideration.
HairNeva confirmed that extraction, recipient-site incisions, and implantation are normally performed by its trained team rather than personally by Dr. Öztürk.
Patients looking for a highly surgeon-operated procedure may prefer a different model.
Doctor involvement varies
Dr. Öztürk’s involvement can vary according to the case and package. His personal hairline design is a stated feature of the DRGO Signature package rather than every package.
We would want the exact involvement confirmed in writing before booking.
Multi-Team Operating Model
HairNeva told Istanbeautiful that it treats approximately 3–5 hair transplant patients per day depending on season, using three specialized teams that can operate simultaneously.
We don’t consider patient volume inherently positive or negative. However, this is a different treatment model from clinics where one named surgeon handles only one or two patients per day and personally performs the central surgical stages.
For patients, the relevant question is whether they prefer HairNeva’s structured team approach or a lower-volume, surgeon-operated model.
HairMetrix outcome advantage isn’t established
HairMetrix may improve the amount of quantitative information available during assessment, but HairNeva didn’t provide comparative evidence showing better transplant outcomes from using it.
Warranty exclusions need to be read separately
HairNeva explained what the lifetime graft warranty covers but didn’t list the circumstances that invalidate it in its questionnaire response.
Request the complete written terms.

Who Is HairNeva Best For?
Based on our clinic visit, independent research, and HairNeva’s detailed written responses, we think HairNeva is particularly suitable for international patients looking for a structured, team-based hair transplant with medical planning, donor assessment, organized travel support, and long-term follow-up.
It may appeal to patients who value quantitative donor assessment through HairMetrix and want their treatment planned with future hair loss and remaining donor capacity in mind.
HairNeva operates a multi-team treatment model. The clinic told Istanbeautiful that it treats approximately 3–5 hair transplant patients per day, depending on the season, with three separate specialized teams operating simultaneously.
The DRGO Signature option may be particularly relevant for patients who want Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güncel Öztürk personally involved in their hairline design.
HairNeva may be less suitable for patients whose main priority is having the clinic’s named founder personally perform the central surgical stages. HairNeva confirmed to us that Dr. Öztürk does not routinely perform extraction, recipient-site creation, or graft implantation himself. These stages are carried out by the clinic’s trained transplant teams under medical supervision.
We don’t consider a team-based model inherently better or worse than a surgeon-intensive model. What matters for prospective patients is knowing who will perform each stage of their procedure before booking.
Istanbeautiful Verdict on HairNeva
★ 94/100 – Excellent
Following our on-site visit, independent verification, research, and detailed written exchange with HairNeva, our overall assessment is very positive.
HairNeva’s strongest features include its structured medical planning, donor-conscious approach, HairMetrix-assisted assessment, international-patient organization, postoperative support, and transparency about how its procedures are delivered.
We independently cross-checked HairNeva’s international health-tourism authorization. HealthTürkiye lists Hairneva Sağlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. (Ados Health Tourism) with International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate AK-1084, and the Turkish Ministry of Health’s authorized healthcare-provider records list Özel DRGO Polikliniği.
We particularly appreciated HairNeva’s willingness to clarify Dr. Güncel Öztürk’s actual involvement. We wouldn’t describe a standard HairNeva transplant as a procedure personally performed by Dr. Öztürk from extraction through implantation.
HairNeva confirmed that these stages are normally carried out by its trained transplant teams, with Dr. Öztürk involved in medical planning and supervision according to the individual case and package.
HairNeva gave us further insight into its operating structure after our follow-up questions. The clinic reports an average of 3–5 hair transplant patients per day depending on low or high season, with three separate specialized teams conducting procedures simultaneously.
This places HairNeva more accurately in the organized multi-team clinic category, rather than the low-volume, single-surgeon model. We don’t treat this structure as a disadvantage by itself. Instead, our rating considers whether responsibilities are transparent, medical oversight is established, and prospective patients can identify who will perform the different stages of treatment.
The main consideration remains the level of personal surgical involvement from Dr. Öztürk. Patients primarily seeking a transplant in which the named surgeon personally performs extraction, recipient-site creation, and implantation may prefer to compare HairNeva with more surgeon-intensive clinics.
For international patients comfortable with a professionally organized team-based model, HairNeva is one of the stronger Istanbul hair transplant clinics we have assessed so far, earning an Istanbeautiful Editorial Rating of 94/100.

Yes. HairNeva offers FUE-based transplantation and DHI. The important distinction for patients is that the transplant’s surgical stages are normally performed by the trained HairNeva team rather than personally by founder Dr. Öztürk.
Is HairNeva worth considering for a hair transplant in Istanbul?
We think so, particularly for patients comfortable with a structured, team-based treatment model. HairNeva scored 94/100 in our 2026 editorial assessment, with particularly strong marks for donor planning, international-patient support, aftercare, and transparency about its treatment structure. The clinic reports treating around 3–5 patients per day, depending on the season, across three specialized teams. Patients seeking extensive hands-on surgery from the named founder may prefer to compare HairNeva with more surgeon-intensive alternatives.

How we classify evidence
Throughout this review, we distinguish between first-hand Istanbeautiful observations, information reported directly by HairNeva, and information independently cross-checked through external or official sources.
Clinic-provided information isn’t automatically treated as independently verified. For example, HairNeva’s reported 3–5 daily procedures across three specialized teams comes directly from the clinic, whereas its international health-tourism authorization was separately cross-checked against official Turkish records.
Medical note: Our rating is an editorial assessment, not a medical certification. Hair-transplant suitability, donor capacity, expected results, medications, anesthesia, risks, and possible complications require individual medical assessment.
